Leagues ahead with AIDA
The demand for attractive vacation packages is constantly growing. To respond to this, we need a highly motivated and highly qualified crew. We therefore make a targeted investment in the training and professional development of young maritime talent. Since January 1, 2012 all of our extensive cruise-specific training programs have taken place under the umbrella of the AIDA Academy in Rostock. Furthermore, in 2011 we doubled the number of trainee positions we offer from 20 to 40 and increased the number of student places available from 28 to 40.
But quantity is only one half of the equation. We want to reach the best trainees, students and potential employees. That’s why we want to further improve how we communicate the various career opportunities that AIDA has to offer. Our new company-wide online career portal will be an important tool in achieving this. We will use this platform to communicate job opportunities at AIDA in a way which is a visually appealing, transparent and oriented to our target-group. In order to do this, our website received a makeover in February 2012 and a great deal of new content and functions were added.
